Why are the daily prices for some Tamarack Funds not listed in the newspaper or available through online quote systems? Newspapers and mutual fund listing services generally list the daily prices of funds that have reached certain size or age criteria. For example, The Wall Street Journal only lists the daily prices of funds with at least $25 million in assets, and at least 1,000 shareholders per share class. As a result, some funds – new funds, in particular – are too small to be included in newspaper listings or online quote systems. If your Tamarack fund is not listed in the source you are using, you can find it on this Web site. Just click on the Performance page within any section of our site. Clicking on the name of the fund will take you to the profile of the fund with information on its top holdings, performance history and other useful data as of the most recent quarter end.
What are the Fund minimums? To purchase funds into a new account for A, C and S share classes, the minimum is $1,000; for R share classes, the minimum is $250; unless an Automatic Investment Plans is established, then the minimum is $100 with minimum subsequent purchases of $50. Class I shares have a minimum of $250,000 for individuals and institutions in a regular account. Class I shares offered through a qualified retirement benefit plan must have minimum plan assets of $6 million. Certain restrictions may apply.
How can I purchase or add shares? You may purchase shares of the Funds through the Funds' Distributor or through banks, brokers and other investment representatives, which may charge additional fees and may require higher minimum investments or impose other limitations on buying and selling shares.* If you purchase shares through an investment representative, that party is responsible for transmitting orders by close of business and may have an earlier cut-off time for purchase and sale requests. Consult your investment representative or institution for specific information.
